About Me
I’m Jo, a ceramic artist living in Jakobstad, Finland. Through my sculptures, I pay tribute to the natural world, aiming to bring the energy of the great outdoors into the confines of the home.
The clay’s willingness to be moulded into flowing lines makes it the perfect medium for creating my sculptures. Each, in a different way, captures the awe-inspiring, intricate patterns I see in the forests and lakes around me.
I believe that having flowing objects in our lives and homes helps us slow down, pause, and reconnect with nature.
